Dean Fisher’s workshops are very popular and spaces fill quickly. It is recommended to reserve your place by placing your deposit for registration early.

Dean Fisher’s 2026 Tenuta di Spannocchia in Tuscany, Italy, is $4,500 USD. Paint this stunning, magical landscape with brilliant, personalized instruction by the renowned painter Dean Fisher.

• This will be a seven-day intensive landscape painting workshop based in the magnificent Tuscan countryside in the mesmerizing setting of the Tenuta di Spannocchia, perfectly suited for the plein air painter. The landscape around the villa has enough subject matter for many lifetimes of painting! 
• Seven full days of instruction, from 9am-6pm daily and an additional arrival day and and drop off at the airport day. The bus shuttle service is included in the course price.
• We will have a full day painting trip to the gorgeous city of Siena, (each week) The focus will be gouache painting (which I will demonstrate) because of portability, but you can also work in oils, if you prefer.
• A minimum of eight hours of personalized instruction is provided daily, coupled with full days of hands-on painting.
• Three nighttime portrait painting sessions per week from live models
• The 2026 program includes a focus on still life painting, with setups available throughout the week in the spacious studio—an inviting option for those wishing to combine still life with landscape or portrait work, and perfect for rainy days. (see this link for more information about our large, historic studio building on the property of Spannocchia, referred to as the “museum” because of the Etruscan and Roman artifacts on display.)
• Bus transportation from Florence to Spannocchia and back again (about an hour’s ride)
• 13.5 miles north of Spannocchia is Siena, known for its rich cultural heritage and arts, such as the Santa Maria della Scala, Palazzo Pubblico and Museo Civico, home for many of the most important Sienese paintings
• 44 miles north of Spannocchia is Florence, perhaps the heart of Italy’s greatest art treasures.

There is a limited enrollment on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The total course fee for the 2026 Dean Fisher Tuscany, Italy, landscape painting workshop is $4,500 USD per week. (reduced rate if you choose to stay for both weeks) There is a $500 supplement for private rooms. Additionally, there will be a $350 discount when a non-painting spouse or partner attends. This includes three wonderful meals a day, all chef prepared from ingredients which are exclusively grown on this 1,100 acre, completely organic farm

There is an additional $30 per transaction fee for all payments for this course made by bank transfer, credit card or PayPal (to cover the fees for using these services).

INSURANCE
Because of numerous early payments we have to make to reserve the villa, chef, and transportation, down payments and course fees cannot be refunded after March 31^st, 2026.
Therefore;
It is the sole responsibility of the workshop participants to obtain travel and health insurance as soon as you enroll in this course. This is widely available at a low cost to the participant and highly recommended in the event that you have to cancel participation for some unforeseen circumstance.
