Daily Painting Sessions: Enjoy guided plein air painting sessions each day, led by Dean Fisher, who will help you refine your technique, strengthen your observation, and deepen your understanding of the plein air painting tradition.
Historic Accommodations: Stay at the Hotel Abbazia, a former Carmelite monastery in the heart of Venice. Its historic interiors and private garden provide a comfortable and peaceful home base after a day of painting and exploring the city.

Our home during the workshop will be the Hotel Abbazia, a beautifully restored former Carmelite monastery in the heart of Venice. The hotel combines the character of its historic setting with comfortable accommodations, elegant common areas, and a peaceful private garden—a welcome place to relax after a full day of painting and exploring.
Just a five-minute walk from the Santa Lucia train station and close to the vaporetti, the hotel provides a convenient base from which to experience Venice. Breakfast is included each morning, and participants can enjoy the hotel’s garden, sitting room, and bar during their free time.
