SMOKING

Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the villa or within proximity of the villa.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES

The course will be a full week with partial days before the course begins and after the course ends as an arrival and a drop-off day. Check-in time is 5 pm, departure time is 10 am.

MISCELLANEOUS

• Fine wines are generously served at aperitif and dinner time, but is not free-flowing. Moderate consumption of wine is a wonderful part of the experience but excessive drinking at the villa and during this course is not allowed because of the risk of accident, etc.
• All rooms are double occupancy, shared with another friendly participant, perhaps someone whom you invite? There are single rooms available at a $500 additional charge.

LIABILITY

Dean Fisher Studio (Dean Fisher and Josephine Robinson) shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by the workshop participants. Dean Fisher Studio assumes no liability for any loss, damage, expense, injury or inconvenience by reason of any defects in the structure of the property, plumbing, electrical systems, gas, water or failures in the supply of utilities for either the studio facilities or housing. For any loss or damage to the chateau and its contents or grounds of the chateau caused by workshop participants, the cost of repair or replacement will be paid by the participant to Dean Fisher Studio which will then be paid to the villa owners.

FORCE MAJEUR

Refunds do not apply when your course is canceled as a result of the risk of war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions and similar events beyond our control.

Please Note It is the sole responsibility of the workshop participants to obtain travel and health insurance as soon as you enroll in this course. This is widely available at a low cost to the participant and highly recommended in the event that you have to cancel participation for some unforeseen circumstance.

MISADVENTURE

We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage you may suffer during the period of your course due to accident, illness, bodily injury or loss of equipment, of belongings or from any other cause.

INSURANCE

Because of numerous early payments, needed to reserve the chateau, chef and transportation, down payments and course fees cannot be refunded after March 31, 2025.
Therefore;

PASSPORTS, VISAS

It is the sole responsibility of participants to obtain the travel documents (passports, visas, etc.) necessary to attend this workshop.

DATES, DEADLINE AND NOTIFICATIONS

Registration Deadline and Cancellation Notification Deadline – The full balance of the course fee of $3,500 is due by April 1st, 2025. Registration for specific workshops may be extended based on availability.
Final Payment Deadline – course fees cannot be refunded after March 31, 2024.
Notifications will be made in a timely manner in the event of any necessary changes to any workshop.

REMOVAL

Dean Fisher Studio reserves the right to remove any disruptive participant from the workshops and/or housing without refund.
